The Dubai Autodrome based Energy Dubai F4 team proudly unveiled their new title sponsor and livery at the second annual Emirates Motorsport Expo, with new title sponsor SILBERPFEIL ENERGY DRINK joining the two-car F4UAE team which came second in the team's championship last year and who's driver Sean Babington came third in the drivers’ championship.

The agreement between Energy Dubai F4 and SILBERPFEIL ENERGY DRINK - which will be available in stores within a few months and is an all-natural healthier option to other drinks on the market - is initially set for 3 years and the team has been renamed SILBERPFEIL ENERGY DUBAI.

SILBERPFEIL already has strong ties within motorsport as they are the official partner of Mercedes-AMG Motorsport and are the title sponsor for one of their cars in DTM. With plans to move into other championships with Mercedes, this partnership is set to continue.

“The three year deal with SILBERPFEIL will mean we can expand and enhance our team allowing us to offer young and upcoming drivers the best possible services," said Kevin Day, Team Principal for Energy Dubai. "We will soon be moving into our new home at the purpose-built Motorsports Park at Dubai Autodrome and will be fitting it out as a training centre. This will allow us to offer drivers, both homegrown and international, all they need when transitioning from karts into single seaters. Our aim is to be the best place in the world to send drivers for winter training.”

CEO of SILBERPFEIL Middle East and Africa Ubaid Rehmann, is excited by the partnership which is set to put SILBERPFEIL ENERGY DRINK front of mind amongst GCC’s loyal motorsport fan base: “At SILBERPFEIL we can't imagine life without motor racing. Our brand has grown up around a passion for racing. It’s in our DNA.”

Ubaid Rehmann expressed the SILBERPFEIL ENERGY DRINK brands commitment to encourage the GCC community in including more motor sporting activities in to their lifestyles: "We are very inspired to expand our involvement in the world of sports in the Middle East and Africa region and this is just a start to the many plans we have upon coming in the near future."

Lucas Petersson - who was crowned UAE Junior Rotax Karting Champion last season, drove for Energy F4 in the final round of 2016/2017 plus has signed for the full coming season - was on hand at the unveiling and saw the car for the first time: “It is great news to have SILBERPFEIL ENERGY DRINKS as a new sponsor for the team. I love the new look to the car and feel energised already. I can’t wait to get out on track and try the new colours out plus I am looking forward to plenty of podiums this season”.
