Italien Driver Francesco Braschi achived his first podium in his F4 career with the Berlin-based team, with a superb second place in Race 2.

All F4UAE Teams where facing a compressed schedule this Thursday due to the tight schedule within the 24H Dubai event. After a promising Free Practice in the morning, working for the qualifying sessions 1 & 2 was a challenge to point out more potential in the car, as well as in the drivers. Both driver and team figured out a good set up, which ends up in a great starting position of 3rd for Braschi and P11 for Ried for Race 1.

Race 2 takes the second fastest lap from Q1, and again Braschi finished third while Ried claimed P10.

Race 1 was intense with Braschi having to avoid the stalling polesitter Van´t Hoff and lost one place. Through some battles he dropped to P5 but could hold this Top Rank, before an accident from leading Pepe Marti brought a red flag, while Ried was gaining two positions with consistent laps. Both Mücke drivers were able to speed up and gain positions, but two laps after the restart, the race had to be finshed under Safety Car because Saudi Arabian Saud al Saud crashed, fortunatelly without getting hurt.

So the second race found just 12 cars back on the grid. Spaniard Pepe Martins was not able to take his second starting position, due to the hard damage of his car, so that brought Mücke´s Francesco Braschi to the first row beside polesitter Danilo Van´t Hoff. Ried started again rapidly from P10, being directly connected to the front midfield. He started with a used set of tyres due to weekend's strategy and was paying early tribute to the degridation, but able to manage his speed finishing on a very good P9 at the end.

Francesco was going all-in with new tyres for his promising start from P2 on the grid. Close to take the lead with a superb start, he was clever enough not to lose the race in the first corner by crashing with Van´t Hoff and managed a great second place, resisting upcoming pressure in the middle of the race by Hamda al Qubaisi and  Kirill Smal, and could pull away at the last three laps.

Tomorrow's Race 3 will see Braschi starting from P5 and Ried from P12. The result of Race 3 will define the reverse grid of the Top 8 for Race 4; a chance for both drivers, to have a successful first round in Dubai.
