The first F4 UAE cars are now in production at the Tatuus factory
Tatuus, the Italian chassis manufacturer was selected at the end of 2013 by the FIA in order to realize the new FIA F4 car that was debuted in the 2014 Italian Championship, and was the first F4 FIA car. In 2015 the German F4 Championship decided to use F4 Tatuus cars, as well the new Championship NEZ (North European Zone). In 2016, the UAE Championship as well as the Spanish Championship was added to the series.
The F4 UAE Championship is organized and supervised by the Automobile and Touring Club of United Arab Emirates (ATCUAE), and is aimed at young drivers from 15 years old in the FIA MENA region.
“First F4 UAE cars are currently in production in Tatuus factory, we follow up with the manufacturer on a regular basis to ensure on time delivery” said Mohammed ben Sualyem, President of ATCUAE and EMSF.
Based in the UAE, the Championship will feature 18 races held over 6 events at Yas Marina and Dubai Autodrome Circuits, starting in October 2016.
